First of all, we need to make sure that our kids have been thought with the formal logic first before we finally teach them Math.  It is important that they are already able to think logically with the use of words or situations in real life before they can effectively apply abstract concepts such as numbers.  We may give them brain training or brain exercises first, before we may finally give them math problems.

Another important element that we need to consider is their age.  We need to make sure that the module we are using to teach them Math is just appropriate for their age.  Otherwise, it is going to be a waste of time since they will not understand what you are trying to teach them.
