September 11, 2001 was a day that I will never forget. I was in P.E. class my freshman year of high school and we heard the breaking news on the radio while lifting weights during 2nd hour. I just remember the whole day people were asking questions and it seemed that no one had any answers. The school day was basically a blah and I am not even sure that any teachers actually tried to teach anything. Soccer practice was cancelled and everyone went home right away. The whole day was just non stop news coverage and I was shocked that our country had been attacked. Later that night I saw my brother working out in his room and doing push-ups (something that I don't see too often). He said he thought there might be a draft and he was going to be prepared. I thought he was joking and he maybe was but it did got me thinking about what this day would lead to and how many people it has affected. I will never forget the kids who had parents that worked in NYC or were airplane pilots and to see their scared faces with no answeres and no way to get any answers. 9/11 will be a day that I will never forget.
