I remember watching the news while waiting for class to start. Then I remember seeing the towers get hit by a plane. At first none of us thought it was real. Then we realized what was happening and were glued to the TV. Most teachers let us watch this historic event unravel on the news. I do remember getting into a heated argument with my Spanish teacher because she said that we needed to concentrate on other things. How could someone concentrate on learning verbs and nouns at a time like that?
