School had just started an hour and a half or so, and my class was entering the library as we do on the usual schedule, keep in mind I was only in third grade. Our librarian had the TV on, and from what I remember only one plane had crashed into the towers. Our librarian threatened to turn off the TV if we didn't be quiet, so the ones who were talking quieted. We watched, and eventually the second tower was hit, and the news might've been switching between the towers and the Pentagon. Within the hour, my mom eventually came and picked me up.

Now that was five years ago and I was only ten then. It means much more to me now at fourteen years old than it did at ten, of course, and I shan't ever forget it. I would have a much deeper memory and deeper feelings if it happened more recently as I would know more, but I hope never again comes a day where I will be given such memories to remember.

In honour of all those who had not more an intent than to save others - save more than themselves - and to those who had no choice due to some flawed religion. May their, and this day's, remembrance live on.
