On 9/11 I was in school when the catastrophe took place. I remember sitting in class, when all the the sudden my teacher said that the world trade centers just fell. We turned on the tv, and for the next hour or two we watched the news. I didn't know what to feel. Of course, it was terrible that all those people died, but I didn't know anyone involved in it. So to me, it didn't directly affect me. I may sound callous, but it is the truth. At the time, it was no more than a sad story.
