I was 9 years old when the september 11th attacks occurred. I remember coming home from school and watching tv with my mom, who was trying to explain to me what had happened that day without scaring me too much. I really didn't understand what had happened at that point and I knew it wasn't in Canada so I wasn't that scared. Year by year I get more informed about this event and learn more how it effected not only the states but the whole world. I think it will always be a scary thought to know that there are people who would do such a thing in this world.
