I had been out of Florida before, but the expirience was not the same as my trip to St. Louis. My dad is big into older cars such as GTO's, he owns a 68' gto, so he browses through online forums and part's sites regularly. He happen to come across a scavenger hunt on one of parts sites, that had a paid trip to St. Louis for one of the biggest classic pontiac car shows that take place in the United States. Well he did the scavenger hunt and a week later he recieved an email telling him he had won. So upon reading the email he asked if I would like to join him on the trip. A few weeks later we were on our way to the air port to depart to St. Louis, what made this trip to memorable for me was the fact this was going to be the first time I had ever been on a plane, as well as, I had never been out of state for a car show.

Being on a plane is not something I enjoyed as I soon found out. I never really liked the idea of being in something I don't have control over. And I soon found out how much turbulence sucks. But after on hour or so we arrived in St. Louis, everything there is just so different but in a good way. The air was different, the people, the community was different. I got to see a lot of things while there, even went to the "arch" and took the elevator to the top to check it out. The city there at night is awsome the lighting, the river, and the food was great.

But the main reason we were there was for the cars and that was the best part of this trip. So many gourgeous cars were there, a lot of which were worth well into the 6 digit area. Also one of the biggest attractions at this show is the for sale section. There is literally around two or three parking lot's filled with parts people are selling for these classic cars. There were a lot of great people there and we made a few new friends.
